The new Surigao City Officials (2010-2013)

THE NEWLY ELECTED CITY MAYOR ERNESTO T. MATUGAS, CITY VICE MAYOR DANILO MENOR AND COUNCILORS TOOK THEIR OATH OF OFFICE IN THE MORNING OF JUNE 29, 2010 AT THE CITY AUDITORIUM JAMPACKED WITH SPECTATORS AND SUPPORTERS. Mayor Nitoy Matugas in his inaugural address said, on top of his agenda will be Agriculture development through extensive food production.
 
 

August 2- The Honorable City Vice Mayor Danilo C. Menor receives the Plaque of Recognition from City DILG Director Mosquito during Monday’s flag raising ceremony in front of Surigao City Hall. The Surigao City Disaster Coordinating Council was declared as Hall of Fame Awardee being the consistent winner of Gawad Kalasag in Caraga Region from 2007-2010.

July 26- The Honorable City Mayor Ernesto T. Matugas assisted by Vice Mayor Danilo C. Menor awards the Certificate of Appreciation to Iluminada G. Ancla who retired as Board Secretary III after her Forty One ( 41 ) years of valuable and dedicated service to the people of Surigao. Ancla also received her 201 file and a Check representing her earned leave credits.
